The draft pool is going to be a weakened one of the next coupe of seasons, which could see clubs start to look at possibly drafting former players and give them a lifeline. One such player is Jason Cloke who has been playing VFL since his career at Collingwood came to an end with him being delisted.

Glenorchy's captain Jesse Crouch is hopeful that his season is not yet over, the veteran Magpie injured his arterial cruciate ligament during the Pies hard fought win against the Bombers last weekend at KGV that clinched a place in the 2010 Finals for Glenorchy.

Crouch will have his knee examined during the week, and will wait and see if wearing a brace on the injured knee will assist him during the Magpies' finals campaign, should Crouch require surgery on his knee, his season is over.

Mountain Heights School here in Queenstown seems to be gaining a reputation, and the campaign trail saw a politician arrive in the town. Nick Sherry was going around, I believe it was him, it could have been someone else, anyway he was getting educated in the education of this town.

After 14 rounds of TSL action Jaye Bowden is firming as favourite of the Glenorchy Best and Fairest medal The Roy Cazaly Medal.
